The word LOISTE [lɔɪste] is Finnish and it means shine, luster, sheen, brilliancy. We chose this name because light, both visible and the light of emotions, are the most important elements of our films.

We make wedding films for those who want something different. For those who love to walk their own path, exploring and enjoying the world. What makes these our favorites are the wonderful moments we’ve had being part of these lovely couples wedding days. WHAT'S A TYPICAL

WEDDING FILM SHOOT LIKE?

We make our films as a two to three (2-3) person team. This makes it possible for one of us to focus on the wedding couple and the other videographer can focus on details, additional angles, reactions or drone shots. We follow the couple during the whole wedding day and we document the day as it unfolds. Sound and music is a central part of our wedding films, therefore we capture both sound and speeches with various microphones and recorders. We also have professional drones that we use for beautiful aerial shots. Note: Aerial shots can not always be guaranteed. Drones are used according to country regulations and possible rainy weather might be a restricting factor too. Ask us for more information about drone rules and regulations for your country.

DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

Yes. Absolutely. Anytime. Almost anywhere. We love traveling. We have filmed weddings in Thailand, Italy, France, Croatia, Norway and Finnish Lapland.

WHAT'S THE PRICE?

We only do a full day wedding coverage. Our package price is 3750€ (one videographer) / 4750€ (Loiste film team with 2 videographers) / 5500€ (team of 3 videographers), which includes a 4-7 minute cinematic highlight film plus a 30-60 second long trailer for Instagram / Facebook. Alternatively, you can opt for a documentary video of about 15-20 minutes instead of a shorter highlight.

With all the post production and editing there will be approximately 45-60 hours of work behind each wedding film. For weddings that last several days, destination weddings, elopements or other special requests eg. a longer documentary video with the whole ceremony and speeches included, please contact us via email for a quote. Most of the time we shoot weddings as a team, but shooting solo might also be possible for certain weddings. I do it sometimes, please ask for a quote and more information.

SAME DAY EDIT?

Yes. I would love to make a same-day-edit wedding highlight film that is showed on the wedding day at the reception. A same day edit will require at least a third person in our team. The price depends a lot of the wedding. Prices start at 1200€. Feel free to ask for a quote.

CAN WE CHOOSE THE MUSIC?

Not likely. It's not possible to choose your favourite tunes due to copyright laws. We will choose and purchase licensed music from various professional music sites that give your film the right ambiance. This is included in the package. Music scoring and sound design is a process that we really love and we want to keep the creative rights for our Loiste sound designer to choose the music. We will ask you what music you like so we have a guide line and a sense of your music taste.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Your booking requires a 25% booking fee and signing our wedding video contract. The remaing payment is due 14 days prior to your wedding. Our travel expences and accommodation is added to the total fee. Ask for more details.

WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?

About 2-5 months (depending on the season) after the wedding I will deliver your highlight film as a digital downloadable file. In case of the file size being too large or other download issues, I will send you a physical copy on a USB-drive via mail.

CAN YOU TAKE PHOTOS TOO?

It depends. Shooting video is very work intensive and needs a lot of focus. Depending on the wedding and personnel I might be able to take photos too, we have done that on some occasions, I used to do only wedding photography a few years back. In case I can’t offer photos as an extra service, I will be more than happy to recommend a few talented professional photographers for the job. Please ask for a quote and more information if you are interested in both video and photos.

Loiste Films is a wedding film team based in Finland. We travel all over Europe to shoot romantic elopements and beautiful destination weddings. We make creative and passionate films with a lot of emotion and captivative stories.

Our team consists of a couple highly skilled professional videographers that are selected for each wedding according to availability. We have worked together for several years.

Marcel Hägglund, founder of Loiste Films, is a videographer with a long experience shooting weddings. Marcel is the soul of Loiste Films, your contact person and he will always be the first shooter during your wedding day and also the person who edits your film.
